The Fig. highlights the alternating relationships between verses and free (see Glossary) verses among the selected chapters. 47 at the lower left corner connects with its 17 free verses (bottom arrow) and its 38 verses (left arrow). The latter two pair up with 86 through verses/free verses (right and top arrows), respectively. The four entries in the corners link together in a close tie-in via 47 × 38 = 1786! This is also the sum of the chapters corresponding to base verses from 17 to 38, in ascending order!
Further connection via parity is established when we note the verse span and chapters across 14 OPs from 19 to 47 add up to the same figure, 1786! A correspondence with the initialed chapters is obtained as follows: from 17 to 86 the 29 OVs span out 1709 verses. We recognize this as the sum of the 14 declarations in the 29 initialed chapters.
Additional correlation with the initialed chapters may be obtained by the following observation. The free verse span from 19 to 86 is 2938, relating 38 to its 29 Saads. Furthermore, the verse span of the 48 (of 29 verses) chapters corresponding to the base verses up to 29, together with their verses add up to 4738!
